Do I need a doctor’s referral for testing?+

While many tests require a physician’s order, we also offer direct-to-consumer testing for certain screenings. Please contact us to determine if your desired test requires a referral.

Do I need to fast before my test?+

Fasting requirements depend on the specific test:

  • Lipid panel: 12-hour fast required
  • Basic metabolic panel: 8-12 hour fast recommended
  • Glucose test: Fasting required as per physician instructions
  • Most other tests: No fasting required
