At Neuron Diagnostic, we are committed to providing high-quality diagnostic services. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for our services.
1. Service-Based Refunds
Eligible for Refund:
- Services paid for but not rendered due to our operational error
- Duplicate payments for the same service
- Cancelled appointments with advance payment (with 24-hour notice)
- Tests that cannot be performed due to sample issues beyond patient control
Not Eligible for Refund:
- Services already rendered and completed
- No-show appointments without cancellation notice
- Patient-initiated test cancellations after sample collection
- Insurance claim denials (subject to appeal process)
2. Test Result Disputes
If you have concerns about test results:
- We offer complimentary test repetition in case of suspected errors
- Additional testing may be recommended at no extra cost
- Refunds are not provided for accurate test results, even if unexpected
Refund Request Process
- Submit refund request in writing within 30 days of payment
- Include patient information, service date, and reason for request
- Allow 7-10 business days for request review
- Approved refunds will be processed to original payment method
3. Insurance Payments
For insurance-related billing:
- Overpayments by insurance companies will be refunded to the payer
- Patient responsibility amounts are non-refundable once services are rendered
- Co-payments and deductibles are not refundable
4. Processing Time
Approved refunds are typically processed within 10-14 business days. The time to receive the refund may vary depending on your financial institution.
